Meet our Founder and Lead Coach Moritz Drerup

Entrepreneur, Career Strategist, and Experienced Executive

Entrepreneur and Career Strategist Moritz leads our Career Coaching program. With robust business and coaching experience, he’s an excellent partner for career growth.

Moritz’s academic journey took him to Maastricht University and Carlos III de Madrid, where he earned his M.Sc. in International Business. He started professionally at IBM’s Strategy & Change Consulting and Sales Enablement Management, working on external strategy and sales projects.

He then expanded his commercial expertise in leadership roles at Netrada/Arvato and PayPal, deepening his understanding of the tech industry. In 2015, Moritz established 42matches, a leading tech recruitment firm in Germany.

Moritz is a renowned executive coach certified by the Dr. Bock Coaching Academy, Berlin, and currently enhancing his leadership acumen in the Executive Leaders Program at TAM school, Berlin.

His expertise is acknowledged in his membership in the Berlin IHK workforce specialty group and the Entrepreneur Organisation’s (EO) growth program. Moritz is also a New Work expert at the Tech Founders Accelerator of the TUM, Munich.

Outside work, Moritz enjoys running and sailing with his old Folkboat. Based in Hamburg, he lives with his family near the Elbe River.
